Would you know what to do if you came across an accident involving a biker ?

It’s been great to see the sun this week and finally we can look forward to Spring.

With the promise of nice weather, we are seeing more of our motorbike clientele at Coffee 500 & with this in mind, we are planning a training session in the next few weeks with Cheshire Fire Brigade, called “Biker Down”.

A representative is popping along next Tuesday evening ( the 22nd March) from 6 til 7pm to give more information about this event.

The training session is some 3 to 4 hours in duration and provides basic first aid training and information on the best course of action if you are first on the scene at an accident involving a motorcyclist.

Statistics show that injuries to motorcyclists are out of proportion to their presence on our roads. Motorcyclists are just 1% of total road traffic, but account for 19% of all road user deaths.

The session is hosted by local firefighters who are all experienced bikers.
We ran this event last year and it was a real success so come along next Tuesday and find out more …

You could save someone’s life one day !
